"Close your eyes now.
What do you see, hear, feel?
Don't just think about the literal."
-
What does health mean to you?
I've asked a few people and their answers were ;
DES: "To make your life span longer."
AMOS: "To just be healthy
lor!"
SANDY:"It symbols a life of a importance and we have the responsibility to take care of it."
ZOE: "Not smoking, taking drugs, eating orderly, exercising often."
BENEZER:"A lot of preventive measures, cannot eat this cannot eat that ."
ERIC:" The condition of a person."
RYAN:" Health is equalled to life, cause' if we don't take care of our health properly, we might get serious illnesses and
die from them!"
ANONYMOUS: "Health = wealth."
Practically, almost all the answers are the slightly the same. Most often forget that health isn't just about being physically fit.
It's about being emotional, mentally and
spiritually stable.
Have
you thought of that?
Think about it, are you really emotional stable and all that?
Never be afraid to say out what you really feel.
Some of us are afraid to speak the truth because they're scared they might lose a particular something or what not, but it's like, practically a bomb
that'd explode anytime soon if kept inside.
Ways of relieving:
1. Write in a diary, jot everything down if you don't dare to say it all out.
You can choose to show it to someone you trust if you're "ready".
2. Blogging. Anyone can make a blog. If you don't know how to, you may approach your friends and they'd be more than willing to help.
3. Saying nice things about yourself
in front the mirror. It may seem lame and retarded, but just continue doing it and you'd see yourself in a different light sooner or later.
"I like my body just the way it is. "
"I love myself for being unique and special."
etc.
4. Scream. Nothing easier than that! Scream your heart out.
But of course, not at night!
That'd wake everyone up.
5. Talk to a
counsellor. Talk to your parents. Talk to your friends. Talk to your stuffed toy.
JUST SPILL YOUR HEART OUT!
-
Sure, everyone knows how to take care of themselves physically, its constantly
emphasized at school, clinics, everywhere; and it gets old. (so, i guess we wouldn't need to touch on that)
Everyone knows how to take of themselves, but do listen to your body at times.
Like when to eat snacks - when not to, when to exercise, when to take a break, and all that.
The voice DEEP within you is never wrong.
Stay healthy!
